As of today, the United States of America is being led by Barack Obama, Henry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi. The American people have demanded change and now change has come, indeed. Beware of what you ask for…
It was a great victory and an event without precedent as people all around the world gathered to celebrate. People all across America came together in homes and at political rallies to watch the results come in. The Hollywood elite feted it. Oprah wept. People of every race and creed gathered to rejoice in Obama’s win across Asia, Europe, India, South America, Indonesia (the largest Muslim country on earth), and especially Africa where Kenya declared a national holiday to honor their native son becoming President of the USA. Headlines around the world shouted the news in earth-shaking rhetoric such as the London Sun whose front page read “One Giant Leap for Mankind.” Congratulations poured in from global leaders including the President of Venezuela Hugo Chavez and Abbas Abdi (one of the organizers of the 1979 hostage-taking of American diplomats at the U.S. Embassy in Iran.). For the first time in history the world joined in universal celebration as they honored the man who has been dubbed the first “truly global president.”
An unprecedented victory for racism as millions voted purely on the basis of race…an inversion of Martin Luther King’s dream where a man is now judged solely on the color of his skin and the content of his character is irrelevant.
A victory for deception as a man who is a former Muslim and who was indoctrinated for the past 20 years in the Marxist, anti-Semitic, hate-filled, perversion of Christianity known as black liberation theology convinced the world that he sought to unify the races.
A victory for socialism as this closet Marxist persuaded the American people that the answer to our crippled economy was a “Robin Hood policy” where the government takes from the rich (meaning anyone who makes more than you do) and gives to the poor.
A victory for the enemies of the United States as terrorists chose to not attempt any attacks on the USA before the election because they knew that doing so would put a much tougher enemy in the White House. All they had to do was wait and let us defeat ourselves knowing that an Obama win meant a quick pull-out of Iraq and a President willing to negotiate with anyone and who would not act without the permission of the United Nations.
And finally and most importantly, a short-term victory for Satan as he now has in place all the governmental pieces he needs to eliminate any vestige of Christian heritage, legislate out of existence any exercise of true Christianity while encouraging all other philosophies and religions, and make entirely his the last Christian nation on earth.
How did we get here? One step at a time. We Christians bear part of the blame. In our efforts to “sell” the gospel we edited and watered it down so much that we became indistinguishable from the world and the “gospel” became just another humanistic religion. Little wonder that everyone believes that Reverend Wright’s perversion is a valid form of Christianity. But it started with relatively minor things like the restriction of prayer in schools. It continued to snowball as legal precedent after legal precedent from activist judges ruled unconstitutional all the Christian heritage on which this country was based in the name of tolerance and freedom from religion. It continued with legalization of the right to kill your unborn baby and laws forcing homosexual behavior to be accepted. Manipulation of the media was elevated to an art form as the Democrats and liberal left convinced the world that President Bush “lied’ and was the source of all of the evil in the world. Each lie that we swallowed got bigger and more outrageous until asserting that there is a truth about anything became laughable. Until now the whole world has swallowed the lie that the answer to the world’s problems is a man with the only things going for him being fact that he’s black, hates Bush, promises change, and gives a good speech. This is in preparation for acceptance of the Great Delusion…that a man could be god.
The problem I have is with all those who call themselves “Christian” who would have rejected out of hand any man with Obama’s history if he were white but because he is black they’re willing to go to unbelievable lengths to rationalize why they are enamored with him. When you stand before God and answer for why you voted the way you did what are you going to say? “Oh, I know a lot of babies were killed but…he promised change. And I know that acceptance of homosexuality was forced on my society and my children but…he sure hated Bush like I did. I realize that his reinvention of the Fairness Doctrine destroyed many ministries…but he was black…”
2 Timothy 3:13 But evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.
Many people thought he sounded so thoughtful, so reasonable. And during the campaign,
after he had won the Democratic nomination, he seemed to be moving to the center in his
speeches, moving away from his far-Left record. No one thought he would enact such a far-Left, extreme liberal agenda. But the record was all there for anyone to see. The agenda of the ACLU, the agenda of liberal activist judges in their dissenting opinions, the agenda of the homosexual activists, the agenda of the environmental activists, the agenda of the National Education Association, the agenda of the global-warming activists, the agenda of the abortion-rights activists, the agenda of the gun-control activists, the agenda of the euthanasia supporters, the agenda of the one-world government pacifists, the agenda of far-Left groups in Canada and Europe – all of these agendas were there in plain sight, and all of these groups provided huge support for Senator Obama. The liberal agenda was all there. But too many people just didn’t want to see it.
Christians didn’t take time to find out who Barack Obama was when they voted for him.
Why did they risk our nation’s future on him? It was a mistake that changed the course of
history.”

Yes, it was an (and I hate to repeat the term but it’s the only one that fits) unprecedented victory.

You know, I would have laughed off all of the claims of Obama being the Antichrist as extremist political rhetoric if it were not for the unprecedented (there’s that word again) use of Messianic terms by his supporters (both secular and religious). You add to that his history, his goals, and the worship with which he is being lavished and suddenly it’s not so funny any more. Is he the Antichrist? I don’t know but he certainly seems to have a lot in common with him. Of course, if you think the concept of the Antichrist is just religious paranoia, then the whole notion is ridiculous to you anyway.
Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
The election of Obama is the death knell of the last Christian nation on earth. This is no longer a Christian nation nor will it ever be again. We have started down a path from which there is no return. And the problem, at this point at least, is not Obama or even the Democratic party…it’s the American people. The American people complained that they wanted something…anything…different…so God has given them what they wanted. Just like in Numbers 11 where the children of Israel complained because they had only manna to eat every day. So God gave them so many quail that they were hip-deep in them and while they were enjoying getting what they wanted He destroyed them with a plague.
Jeremiah 35:15,17 “I have sent to you all My servants the prophets, sending them again and again, saying: ‘Turn now every man from his evil way and amend your deeds, and do not go after other gods to worship them. Then you will dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your forefathers;’ but you have not inclined your ear or listened to Me. Therefore, thus says the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel, ‘Behold, I am bringing on Judah and on all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the disaster that I have pronounced against them; because I spoke to them but they did not listen, and I have called them but they did not answer.’”
But having said all of this, I will pray for President Obama as I have for President Bush that God would guide and use him to accomplish His will. Make no mistake, all of this is part of God’s sovereign plan and He has made it clear in His Word that the world will get worse and worse right up until the time that His children are raptured from the Earth and the tribulation begins. As saddened and grieved as I am for the nation I once loved and admired, I know that these events are the next step towards His return! Things will accelerate now. Those of you who know the Lord rest assured that He has not moved and we can trust His love and care of us.
Isaiah 41:10 ‘Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
Let me leave you with a quote from a fictional letter written by Dr, James Dobson. It is intended to be a letter written by a Christian in the year 2012 looking back on the events of the last 4 years of an Obama presidency. Pray that he’s wrong.
